On June 29 and 30, 2024, the Tour de France has chosen, for the first time in its 120-year history, Romagna for some stages. There are two scheduled events:

• On Saturday, June 29, 2024, the first Italian stage will take the caravan from Florence to Rimini
• On Sunday, June 30, the tour will restart from Cesenatico heading to Bologna, and then carry out a third Italian stage from Piacenza to Turin on July 1.
